The House of Commons passed a motion last year which called for a ban on Canadian companies doing business in Burma. Canadian activist are supporting these developments. One of the best known Canadaian organization is Burma Watch International, though their website hasn't been updated in a while, It is my guess they are probably working behind the scenes.
